Beacon Fell is an attractive Country Park with extensive views and good facilities. This walk is to the north of the fell and drops to farmland in which is set Bleasdale Bronze Age Circle; although the remains are few it is very atmospheric and there is a lot of information on site. The walk is very open in its feel and there are close views of Parlick and Fair Snape Fell. We saw a lot of hares between Waymarks 21 and 24. Part of the route uses paths agreed with the landowners, rather than rights of way.

Another great Jim Grindle walk. Great views all day long

We did this walk in April, so there were a lot of sheep around and it was during nesting season, so much of the walk required our dog to stay on the lead. Lovely walk for us, but the dog missed out on the off-lead running around he normally likes to do. It may be more dog-friendly during the autumn/winter.

A lovely, varied walk through beautiful countryside. We took advantage of the bench at point 23 and were rewarded with a visit to us by a hare - it came to within 10m of us before realizing we were there and then shot off!

In the section points 24 to 25 the instructions refer to arriving at a shed and gate. The shed has now gone! At point 28, the instructions refer to a left turn onto the lane and a footpath to the right in about 20m. It is more like 100m!
