Beacon Fell is an attractive Country Park with extensive views and good facilities. This walk is to the north of the fell and drops to farmland in which is set Bleasdale Bronze Age Circle; although the remains are few it is very atmospheric and there is a lot of information on site. The walk is very open in its feel and there are close views of Parlick and Fair Snape Fell. We saw a lot of hares between Waymarks 21 and 24. Part of the route uses paths agreed with the landowners, rather than rights of way.
