A circular walk, starting in Bingley Town Centre and going through the tiny settlement of Beckfoot with its ancient pack-horse bridge and links with the Knights Templar, then into the Bingley St Ives Estate, former home of the Ferrand Family. Woods and open country are traversed with splendid views over the Aire Valley, especially from the viewpoint known as Druid's Altar. The route includes a couple of reasonably steep paths.

I found this a much more enjoyable walk than the previous comment suggests - particularly since I used the OS map to extend the walk by continuing along the ridge from the Druid’s Altar to the end of the wood, then turning right and descending quite steeply on a clear path to return on a lovely wide path along the river. Not worth any amount of traveling (half hour's drive max. I'd say) to participate in this walk. At point no. 19 where you cross a main road & walk toward oncoming traffic, it is quite a dangerous exercise & I would say if you have children under 10 y.o. - don't do this walk because of this section, very short though it is.
