A terrific walk through common, forest and and farmland. The remains of the Augustinian Priory just a short walk from the start of the walk are wonderful, well worth visiting. When you reach the end of Sheringham Wood (P5) there is no need to walk along the very busy road to Gibbet Lane, there is a path that runs inside the forest boundary to the Gresham road sign.
