This is a walk for a fine clear day as the views most of the way both up and down are stunningly distracting. The adage "If you walk don't view" is very apt as there are numerous opportunities to trip if you are not alert. This climb, that appears to be short for a mountain, rises without respite the whole way to the top. The navigation is simple and on a steep, obvious, footpath all the way with several places where hands are needed so unless you are a walking pole enthusiast don't use them on the ascent. However they are very helpful over the small rock ledges on the descent. A fine and reasonably demanding 2 hours or so ascent.
