From the centre of Belford we walk down to Westhall, where a turreted farmhouse and moat remains can be seen as we walk along the streamside. Through farmland with super views over to Holy Island, we reach Swinhoe Farm, then walk through the woodland around the lakes and duckponds where game birds reared here can be found in abundance. Passing beneath Sunnyside Crag and the old limekilns, we return to Belford Village where the pub awaits us.

Point 4 - After following the path up to the waymarker post, we found it was the LEFT fork that took us along to the farm.
