Park by the village pond in the pretty village of Bentfield Green. Using excellent paths and quiet country lanes throughout this walk takes you through a part of rural Essex which is right on the Hertfordshire border.

We did this lovely walk in glorious early autumn sunshine and will definitely be returning to do it again. Within 20 minutes we had seen red kite, buzzard, kestrel and sparrowhawk. Manuden is a charming little village which is well worth exploring. Thanks once again to Brian and Anne.

Excellent walk, almost entirely over fields and on country lanes and with good directions. Waymark 9 is placed incorrectly on the map and should be further East at T junction with Bollington Hall Cottages.
