Bickenhill is recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086. The walk starts at the Church of England parish church of Saint Peter, which is Norman, built in 1140. We head to the village, where if lucky you will see the resident peacock. Next we head past Hazel Farm, using part of the Solihull Greenman trail, across the M42, around Home Farm, back over the M42 and through some lovely crop fields to the village.

It is a perfect short after-work or Sunday morning stroll.

Walked Sunday 7.5.17 in an attempt to shake a hangover off. Nearly worked. Walk was very pleasant and fields full of rapeseed. Good views of landing planes and the tea was good at the garden centre. Add a GPX track.
