This walk concentrates on the area to the north of Bishop's Stortford. It takes you towards Little Hadham Hall, which will feature in another of our walks and has a very long and fascinating history. Bishop's Stortford itself has some very interesting old buildings and is, of course, on the River Stort, much of which is navigable. It is close to Stansted Airport and you are likely to see a number of aircraft climbing or descending as you walk.
