Starting by the entrance to Blackmore Camping and Caravan Park, this walk visits Rhydd, Clevelode and Guarlford in a superb Worcestershire area where fields and meadows, trees and hedgerows are ever-present in all their glory. Footpaths, bridleways and country lanes are taken and a small section of the River Severn is followed from Rhydd. Pretty cottages and large attractive houses are passed on the way through small hamlets and villages and coverts and spinneys are regular features. The Malvern Hills are often in view, their dramatic rise dark against the skyline.

Regarding the previous comment from Sue Darley, we find this walk difficult to comment on as Sue does not explain in her text why and where she couldn't find the footpaths, and has admitted she had no map. Also, this walk was downloaded 24 times in 2019 without any comment, adverse or not. The previous comment in 2011 confirmed that the walk directions were easy to follow. It's a fact that most people who download the walks do not make comment anyway, so we can only assume that Sue got completely lost and that no changes to the walk directions are needed.

Things must have changed considerably since the last comment in 2011. This is the first Walkingworld walk I've had to abandon, as could not find the footpaths. Got myself right once, then I completely lost it. Moral of this story always have an ordnance survey map with you.

This is a lovely walk with superb views. The instructions are easy to follow and are 100% accurate. A great half day out if you are staying at one of the Blackmore caravan sites
