This is a wonderfully varied walk starting just outside the towns of Bewdley and Stourport-on-Severn. The route crosses the Severn Valley Railway line twice, giving good views of the steam trains. The path also skirts the safari park allowing views of some of the animals, before going through a nature reserve and an old rifle range. At the end of the walk there is a local gallery and both Stourport and Bewdley are well worth a visit.

I would suggest visiting the Severn Valley website for timetables, so you can time your walk for best views.

9.4.17 walked on a rare warm April day. Excellent view of the new baby Rhino at the Safari park followed by the Severn Valley steam engine passing. The nature reserve seemed to be teaming with bird song. We enjoyed the walk so much we continued to Bewdley for chips along the Severn River.
