Blaen y cwm - Grwyne Fawr Reservoir - Grwyne Valley - Blaen y cwm

There are many walks starting from Blaen y cwm and exploring the Black Mountains on either side of the valley. This walk is an easy walk and looks at the stream from above and on the return route, following the stream as it tumbles down waterfalls and over rocks back down to the picnic area. There are two footbridges giving access to the other side of the stream and plenty to see.

Unfortunately it is no longer possible to come back along the bottom of the valley as the previous landowner has died and the current landowner does not want people crossing their property. The road is now blocked by a padlocked gate and crossed by wire.
