Blairdenon Hill is the most remote of the 9 hills in the Ochils that are classed as Donalds ( hills over 2000 feet in the Scottish Lowlands). As such it probably the least visited. It's outlying position and difficult terrain make it a challenging proposition
If you like a challenge and you're comfortable with off path walking, and your navigation skills, then this is the walk for you
Follow the walk out the it's furthest point on Blairdenon Hill, gaining height quickly from Alva and then enjoy a high level return along the ridge linking Bengengie Hill to Big Torry overlooking your start point. This ridge is the best ridge walk in the Ochils
