This is an enjoyable short walk, mostly tree-lined, so good in autumn and springtime. The route is mostly along Weavers Way. Blickling Hall is famous not only for its superb building, but its gardens and musical concerts and the parkland which is open to the public. The Buckinghamshire Arms is nearly as old as the hall and is well-known for its excellent food. One can stay there in one of their fourposter bedrooms too. Ring 01263-732133 for more information.
