Blockley - Longborough - Sezincote -Bourton-on-the-Hill - Blockley

From the delightful Cotswold village of Blockley, this moderate walk benefits from superb, far-reaching countryside views over Gloucestershire. Winding through a kilometre of mature woodland at The Warren, the route climbs to look back over Hinchwick Manor. The route descends and ascends before levelling out to accompany long sections of horse 'ride' and farm tracks, again affording far-reaching views. The lovely village of Longborough offers options for a seated rest before turning north on the Heart of England Way, passing close to the spectacular Sezincote House (in photo) and on to Bourton-on-the-Hill. The final section provides a picture-postcard view of Blockley before descending back to the start.

Lovely walk with beautiful views. I think at waymark 11, after the memorial it should be half right across the field, not half left.

Absolutely beautiful walk - highly recommended. The Cotswold Food Store & cafe is on the walk just before you come to Longborough - very impressive lunch selection - a great lunch option. Walk very easy to follow & challenging without being tough. Done on an overcast early May bank holiday and thankfully not so much mud to contend with!

A super Walk and the Village shop and Cafe in Longborough is well worth a visit mid walk. However the length of this walk is more like 10.5 miles according to my digital mapping software
