Blockley is one of the largest villages in the north Cotswolds, situated between Northwick Park Estate and Batsford Park Estate. Blockley is noted for its picturesque landscape setting, its rich architectural heritage, including 184 listed buildings and its former silk mills, which in times past brought prosperity to the village. The village and all surrounding land are included in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This circular walk begins at the village centre to explore a series of connected woodlands: Dovedale, The Warren, Bourton Woods and Norcombe Woods.
