Leave the car park at Bodnant and turn left. The next left leads to a network of narrow unclassified lanes which rise over 500ft in gradual stages to a lane with open views across Snowdonia. A long and in part, steep descent leads back to the lane to Bodnant.

Whilst the whole of the walk is on Tarmac I would consider that for all but the most athletic of users this walk is not suitable for wheelchair users. The route is steep and in addition many single track sections have steep sides preventing avoidance of vehicles. Whilst there is not much traffic at all this is potentially dangerous. Views are good but limited by high hedges on the roadsides.
