The walk is not long but it is not easy walking. Please take care with children as although the path is safe, the gorge is deep in places. The waterfalls are lovely and the rock formation throughout this stretch is remarkable. Be prepared to use your camera.

Really lovely well maintained walk. Very dog friendly, gates not styles and very few sheep! We really enjoyed this one. Modified the walk a bit by starting in Llan Ffestiniog, parking at the Y Pengwern community pub and taking the footpath off the B4391.

A lovely well maintained walk with many of the stiles having recently been replaced by gates. My GPS clocked this walk at a little over 4 miles,lay-by to lay-by, not 5. Lower Waterfall is stunning. Navigation very clear, although on Waypoint 5, please note that you do not go through the gap in the wall - you reach it and bear right, away from the pylon. This was the only bit that confused me. It was a wet day today, and the paths were very slippery in parts, so take care! But well worth a visit.
