Our walk begins and concludes in the small town of Bovey Tracy, where there is time to explore the varied shops and have refreshments on our return. For now though, we will continue our walk through beautiful parkland and into tranquil woodland, where we are rewarded with delightful scenery and the peaceful sounds of the river as it flows through this quiet area. There are many seats and places to rest, maybe with a picnic as you become immersed in its quietude. We continue through the woods and across meadows before passing through a quaint hamlet of thatched cottages towards the end of the walk.

Did this walk last month - excellent walk alongside the river Teign and back through the woods. A very dog friendly walk, going by the number of other dogs we met. Point 1 - if you cross the road using the crossing you turn into Mill Marsh Park almost immediately. Point 8 - the stile is no longer there and spotting the return path is difficult as overgrown, but it is almost immediately on your right, well before you reach the road. The rest of the return route is fine.
