This walk provides a lovely way to spend an afternoon in picturesque South Yorkshire. The village of Bradfield is deservedly popular, as it is a delightful place with a fantastically-sited church up the hill. The circular route is easy but takes in waterside woods, broadleaf woods, a nature reserve famed for its frog sub-species, coniferous woods and open fields affording good views across to the Pennines.
As the walk crosses into two different dales, it provides differing aspects of this area of the country.
