The first walk of the Wanderlust Way (the other two are IDs 2055 and 2066). An easy, circular walk around the splendid scenery and pretty villages of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Starting in woodland just to the south of Grimsby, the walk soon leads out into the tranquillity of rural Lincolnshire, where the land is flat, the going is good and the skies are big. After passing through the pretty village of Beelsby, you start to find that Lincolnshire isn't flat after all, as the way begins to pass through more rolling (but not taxing) countryside.

After skirting the even-prettier village of Hatcliffe, the walk follows Waithe Beck (keep an eye open for hares, foxes and butterflies) to Barnoldby le Beck, where you can sample the excellent hospitality in The Ship Inn, before an easy 3km of flat, farm track walking back to Bradley Woods.

Did this walk on 27th February 2019 in glorious sunshine with my Rottweiler Missy,no stiles on the route at all now although some of the waypoints don't really look like the photographs now,an enjoyable walk but probably the least interesting of the 3 wanderlust way walks
