This walk leaves Brailes and after a short climb puts you on Brailes Hill. Once climbed, the rest of the walk is flat or downhill. Brailes Hill gives magnificent views over the Sutton Valley to the east and later from Cherington Hill, long-distance views towards Shipston on Stour. A descent brings you to the pretty village of Cherington and a welcome stop at The Cherington Arms. Leaving Cherington you pass over field-paths and near to Sutton-under-Brailes. You can divert to see a recently restored sheep-wash, which reportedly was used to wash the sheep prior to market. Continue over more field-paths and a golf course to return to Brailes.
