The walk starts from the war memorial that stands at the entrance to the impressive-looking Church of St George, in the main street of Brailes. The route soon takes to the fields before reaching the wonderful Holloway Lane, allowing far-reaching views over marvellous countryside. Following the contours of Roundhill is a memorable experience in the heart of superb landscape and reaching the ancient Ditchedge Lane after an uphill climb, the glorious panoramic scenes are ample reward.
Returning to fields again following a section of not unpleasant road walking, Sutton-under-Brailes comes into view but is not entered and the return leg takes the course of Sutton Brook, which flows through a golf course. The lofty tower of Brailes Church, called the Cathedral of The Feldons (the rich agricultural land of the area), is in view ahead from then on, before arriving in the main street of Brailes again.
