The walk starts at the village hall in Brailes and after walking through the village up to the church and The George pub, follows a narrow path before entering open fields and slowly climbing up Mine Hill. Looking back gives an excellent view of Brailes. Traversing across the west side of Mine Hill there are splendid views across Sutton Valley to Brailes Hill. Descending towards Whichford, pass through Whichford Mill. The pub in Whichford, The Norman Knight, has excellent food and real ales. Leaving Whichford there is opportunity if you have the time to view the Terracotta Pottery, also some excellent gardens just before leaving the village. After crossing a brook, come to a walk through Long Cliff Coppice, re-cross the brook and make a slight climb, eventually following the Stour Valley to the edge of Stourton. Then cross fields and golf course of Sutton Valley to arrive back in Brailes.
