Thank you Tom for this lovely walk, the views across the expanse of Salisbury Plain at this early spring time were stunning. Please leave plenty of time for this walk as we constantly found ourselves stopping to watch wildlife & the occasional military vehicle going about their business. The options of short cuts are a good idea with the area being very open with little hope of shelter if the weather turned unfriendly.
