This walk starting at Brentwood Station is a short linear route to Harold Wood Station which is in the Greater London Borough of Havering. You use a couple of residential roads, quiet lanes, stretches through woodland and through a common where careful navigation is required due to multiple paths in all directions. There is a section where you walk close and cross the M25 via a bridge, but soon enough the traffic noise disappears as you return to the countryside. This is a fairly pleasant route for someone that fancies a short walk including a short return trip on the train.
A few paths were slightly overgrown but nothing to cause a problem (July 2022).
