This is a very enjoyable short walk, with good views of the River Colne. In 2007, June 23rd / 24th, there is a boat show weekend and also in June is the spectacular Brightlingsea town carnival.
Perhaps you would like to know about the Waveney Stardust Charity,
'Cruises for disabled and older folk'. The Waveney Stardust cruiser has been specially designed for wheelchairs and any folk who are disabled in some way. Cruises run from April to December.
