The walk joins two picturesque Wirral villages by bridleways and footpaths with a minimum of stiles. Signposting is good and a lot of the route is on tracks with good surfaces. One outstanding feature of the walk and one which took me by surprise, was a view of both of the cathedrals in Liverpool, standing out clearly above the skyline.

Just completed this walk new years day 2021. A nice walk mostly flat and off road. Accurate way points. Very boggy in places but expected for this time of year.

Nice walk we undertook 11th March 2017. Quite muddy in places at this time of year, but a very flat walk for those that don't like climbs. Most if not all of the styles have been replaced by Kissing gates, or are simply missing. Between Way marks 9 and 10 there is a a large (locked) metal farmgate, but you can squeeze past on the left. Unfortunately we missed the Footpath sign at way mark 15 so we ended up back at way mark 5 and then went back though way mark 4 etc. Finished with some refreshments at the Craft centre.

A nice easy stroll.
