The walk follows bridleways, quiet lanes and farm drives as it loops round several farms, before returning to Brisley. At the start is a WW2 crash site reminding us of the cost of that conflict.

The bridleway has been cleared and is now passable. That said the second half of the bridleway, just after you cross the road was more water filled ditch for approx. 30 metres. Not a problem finding away around this but thought it worth a mention. An enjoyable couple of hours despite the rain and very muddy paths. The Brisley Bell is open for business and is one not to miss.

Instead of going along the bridleway, go to the right and walk in the field with the hedges on your left. Before you get to the end skirt the dry pond/depression to the right and then go left to rejoin the path. Don't try to cross the dry looking pond or else you will sink in the mud. After that point it is reasonable,

Bridleway very overgrown July 2017 as previously mentioned. We persevered, only to find the way completely blocked at Back Lane end, so had to abandon the walk.

Nice countryside walk, potentially easy as no stiles and easy going after the first section. Unfortunately when we walked it (27.5.17) the bridleway between Brisley and Back Lane (country road) was very, very overgrown with nettles, cow parsley and brambles almost to the point of making it impassible. The section between Brisley and the B1146 being particularly bad. From the B1146 to Back Lane was better, but still not clear of overgrowth. The first section of the bridleway has clearly not been walked much and had certainly not seen a horse in a long time. Easy to miss the sign to the bridleway at the start of the walk as it faces away from you as you walk along the road and is only clearly visible from the opposite direction.

Nice short walk around a flat and open area, great for Norfolk 'big sky'. The pub at the end of the route looks closed, fenced off as we drove to/from the start.
