The walk starts in the Brock Mill picnic car park. The walk meanders along the edge of the River Brock, where there is a variety of birds and wildlife to be seen.
Continue away from the river and out up a slow climb of Delph Lane, with great views to the right of the main fells of the Trough of Bowland, passing Delph Quarry and heading into the meadows, with great views down onto the Lancashire Plain. There is a great variety of birds, depending on the time of year.
This is farmland and there can be cows in the fields, again dependent on the time eof year.
Approximately two-thirds around the walk you pass through Cobble Hey Farm, Gardens and Café. Visit their website for opening times www.cobblehey.co.uk.
The walk continues through open fields back to the car park.
