These woods are only open to the public from 1st April to 31st August. The local woodland forms part of the Earl of Yarborough's estate and during the summer months, much of the woodland is open to the public. Mausoleum Woods is the area of mixed woodland lying between the house and estate yard at Brocklesby and the village of Great Limber. It was chosen for this walk because of the many little items of interest it contains over and above the grand, hilltop mausoleum after which it is was named. These include an artificial cave, so remember to take your torch along. Also, tree lovers will appreciate the many different specimen trees, especially at the northern end of the walk.

This is an ideal dog walk.
