The Preselli Hills are rich in ancient burial grounds and hill-forts. This route takes in Carnalw, a small Iron Age fort, with a defence system known as 'chevaux-de-frise' and the hill-fort of Foeldrycarn. Part of the route follows the Golden Road, a prehistoric route across the hills.
