Starting from Pirnhow Street near the former Pirnhow Chapel (now a private house) the walk follows a well tended cycleway and footpath to Ellingham. A short road section leads to farmland and the Church of St Michael, Broome, set in the middle of arable fields. Quiet lanes and a short busy road section lead to Bath Hills and a lovely section of the Angles Way. Finally back down by the Waveney, the walk crosses the main A143 at the Chicken Roundabout to reach the starting point.

The section between Waypoints 6 and 7 is somewhat overgrown with Summer nettles and a few brambles at the moment. It is passable, but long trousers and a stout stick will help. It's not long and there are no other issues with the walk.
