This circular walk starting in the village of Bures in Essex is a real delight. You shortly leave Essex and follow sections through the Suffolk countryside consisting of field paths, quiet country lanes, sections through woodlands, through two farms and a lovely section through a nature reserve. There are some great views to be had along the route combined with a couple of benches at various points, ideal for a sandwich stop, and also a pub to visit at the end of the walk.
Most of the paths were clear and signposted (February 2023) and by noting the directional arrows on the waymark photos, these will guide you in the correct direction across any fields.
