Bures - Stour Valley Path - Wormingford Airfield - Fordham - Hemp's Green - Chappel and Wakes Colne

A linear walk starting at Bures Station in Suffolk to Chappel and Wakes Colne Station in Essex which boasts a railway museum which you can visit at certain times (see website). The route follows part of the Stour Valley Path with great views and then mainly field paths, a few quiet country lanes and a stretch along a disused air strip with the surrounding area being used by a gliding club. All paths were clear apart from one or two field edges that were overgrown with long grass (July 2022).
