This a truly excellent walk. The route takes you across the marshes and along the coastal path which overlooks the creeks. On the marshlands and creeks wading birds, geese and ducks such as pochard can be seen, especially in winter. Over the meadow, owls can be spotted. On the River Burn there are swans, coot and moorhens. The route goes through the picturesque town of Burnham Market, with its associations with Lord Nelson.
