This is an easy to follow circular walk from the large car park of Hickory's Smokehouse, Burton Green. The paths are easy to follow, many being enclosed, including a large stretch along the Kenilworth Greenway. The walk skirts three wooded areas, adding variety and there is the opportunity to follow a nature trail if you wish.

The walk is generally dog-friendly, although there is one field where cattle graze and the feed is located near the entrance.

Walked the route yesterday. The start of the route 'the Peeping Tom pub' is now Hickory's Smokehouse, and the first enclosed path was very overgrown, as were lots of the paths. Quite hardgoing at times, but still very enjoyable. Beautiful views, but we should have taken the advice of one of the previous comments and taken secateurs (or even a scythe) at times.

Having walked today, we are happy to report the brambles are cleared! GPS gpx track can be found here http://www.mapmyrun.com/workout/769964227

I've notified the local council regarding the brambles - hopefully this will be resolved fairly quickly.

I need to make a comment about this walk regarding waymark 9 - it is mentioned in the additional info that it maybe useful to 'take some secateurs to cut the odd tendril'- we found that on the day of our walk a huge amount of brambles had mostly been cut down already, though had all been left strewn across the ground or pushed up against the fence but had since blown all over the pathway. My dog was with us but due to the amount of brambles was unable to walk this path - she weighs 16kg so was not easy having to carry her the distance of this path which is the length of the neighbouring rugby pitch. There were so many brambles on the ground they kept wrapping around my legs and were also covering up a lot of large holes in the ground, two of which I nearly fell down. So although we enjoyed the rest of this walk the end was not enjoyable at all and i would like to make dog-walkers aware of this issue.
