From Cala San Viçenc we begin by following a wide track that used to connect to the stone quarry. We are climbing gradually. Passing the site of the old quarry we soon come to a tunnel system where apparently the quarry explosives were stored. From here we begin to follow a rocky footpath which twists and turns its way upwards until we reach what looks like an exposed mine shaft. From the little cairn-marked summit here the views are amazing and there is the option to continue across a little plateau and upwards for 150m or so to reach the summit of Puig de L'Aguila at 214m above sea level. After enjoying the stunning views we return to the shaft area and from here we can either scramble down a dry streambed as described, or simply retrace our outward footsteps to meet where the scramble way rejoins. From here we simply return along our outward route.
