Although this is a short walk it follows tracks through a lovely part of the Forest of Dean. The walk along Cannop Ponds may take a while, as there are always plenty of wildfowl to see and enjoy. After climbing up for over half a mile, the return route is down through Bix Slade, following the track of an old quarry tram road.
