We did a shortened version of this route from point 11 in the description and it provided us with a very enjoyable November walk. It is worth noting that the green bands on the posts mentioned at point 12 are now red. The big beech tree at 16 seems to have been cut down and there is no stile there, the next stile is close to 17 and is fairly new. There had been a lot of rain the day before and we had to make a detour after point 21, below Speech House Lake, where the path was blocked by a fast running stream. Thanks again for this enjoyable walk.
