This walk starts off outside Hedingham Castle, which is open to the public and worth a look, as the 12th Century keep is in fantastic condition. It mainly follows footpaths around the north-eastern side of the keep, with the odd view through the trees to the castle. The route heads round to the restored railway, which is a lovely sight. The last section follows parts of the river through woodland and past open farmland to complete a circuit of the village.
