Starting at Castle Park, you have a chance to visit the castle before walking through the park to arrive at the River Colne. At this point you have a chance to walk through a nature reserve or continue along the tarmac path beside it. You follow more tarmac paths, a few roads, alongside some allotments and a couple of footpaths before entering Old Heath Recreational Ground. Then a few more roads before arriving at the town centre, where you can enjoy visiting the shops, pubs and restaurants before making your way back to Castle Park.
