This is an excellent three-and-a-half mile walk right on the outskirts of Birmingham and Solihull. The walk starts at a popular pub, which serves a well-known coffee and reasonable food with a very nice beer-garden.
The walk starts on the Grand Union Canal, then takes a pretty, flat route through a number of fields, meadows and wooded areas, with the River Blythe over to the left. We cross the A41 twice and return via Hampton lane and the tranquil Berry Lane to finish.
