Enjoy a stroll around the delightful Ardwell Estate on a public footpath from the parking and picnic area at Chapel Rossan Bay, just south of the village of Ardwell, on the A716 in the Rhins of Galloway. There is a large walled garden just off-route, with plants for sale during the season.

Information for Dog Owners: dogs must remain on the leash to avoid disturbing wildfowl on the loch.

A nice gentle, hidden gem of a walk. The lake seems to be popular for fishing. Paths are straightforward to follow and nice view of Ardwell House along the route too.
