The walk starts at the Railway Museum in Chappel and then heads off down country lanes and through fields to arrive at Mount Bures. After passing The Thatchers Arms pub and restaurant you soon start the return leg, which passes through a couple of farms, fields, country lanes, woodland and a stretch along a disused airfield before arriving back at the station.
If you fancy some refreshments, carry on past the station to the crossroads and take the road opposite, where The Swan Inn can be found on the left. Then retrace your steps to the station.
