Starting at Chelmsford station in the heart of the city centre, this circular route is ideal for all the family. After passing through two parks and a section beside the River Cam, you join a lengthy section of the Centenary Circle path before arriving in the village of Broomfield. After following the main road for half a mile you shortly enter a beautiful nature reserve which you walk through right back to the city centre, where you can browse the huge array of shops before returning to the station.
All the paths were clear and signposted (September 2023).
