Starting from the attractive village of Cherington, the route to Little Wolford is wonderfully scenic and beautiful. The walk follows footpaths, bridleways and quiet country lanes, passing homesteads and outlying farms in this lovely Cotswold Area of Outstanding Beauty. Mature trees stand majestically in the parkland of Weston, and pockets of woodland can be seen often. Little Wolford is another very attractive village where time seems to have stood still, and is a pleasure to walk through and observe. Brailes Hill, a distinctive landmark in this area, is often in view, and the quiet, observant walker can expect to spot deer at close quarters along the way. This is an altogether appealing little walk for the country lover.
