This easy circular walk starts at Chipping Campden, a picturesque market town with many interesting stone-built buildings, then goes over quiet minor roads through magnificent scenery to the neighbouring village of Blockley. The return is along the Monarch's Way, across fields and along lanes, through extensively farmed countryside.

Instructions amended to avoid confusion. You were right about the distance too! Many thanks for that, Ian. Chris, Walkingworld.

A most enjoyable walk especially on a sunny Autumn day. There was one point of confusion - Point 10 of the walk tells us to 'continue on grassy path with hedge on left' and this is continued in Point 11 which tell us to continue until path terminates at track and then turn right at track. Turning right at this point actually takes you on the track down to Hangmang's Hall Farm - which i'm sure is a very nice farm!. I think the instruction should have been to carry straight on at that point. PS I think this walk was nearer 7 miles than 5!
