Cinctorres and the three Ermitas circular

We begin from the imposing church in Cinctorres by enjoying a quiet walk through the village itself. We head south down to the attractive Ermita del Pilar before beginning a peaceful country ramble climbing gently towards the Ermita de Sant Marc and enjoying the classic timeless countryside all around us. Soon we are up at some 1100 metres altitude and can enjoy some amazing panoramas as far as the eye can see. Now we head in a northerly direction through more lovely open country to reach Ermita Sant Pere. Next we continue northwards and are soon descending into a steep wooded valley from which we have a slightly more difficult short zig zag ascent. Once at the road we head off into farming country to the east of the village before turning south west along the ancient Camino de Cinctorres that will bring us back into the east side of the village.
