Starting from Jubilee Tower, the walk climbs up to Cairns Fell and uses concessionary paths to visit Clougha Pike. A pleasant descent is then made to Damas Reservoir before returning to Jubilee Tower through fields. There are panoramic views of Morecambe Bay.

The footpath at Brow Top Farm was diverted last November - according to the irate farmer. So at waymark 11 change the description to "Head straight across the field to a style in the fence, continue ahead. Then keeping to the left of Brow Top Farm follow the path signed around the farm to reach the road. Turn right . . . A suggestion for this walk is at waymark 6 where instead of following the faint path - follow the obvious track keeping to the left of the wall, cross the stream and keep it on your right to pass through a gate to reach waymark 8. This may not be the official footpath but it is quicker and dryer. Another general suggestion for the Walk Guides would be to add the date the walk was added and the date it was last updated. This would help people judge whether they are off route or the walk has been rerouted.
