A pleasant circular walk starting in Coggeshall, Essex. This route follows mainly field-paths which can get quite muddy in the winter months, but with the appropriate footwear you will be fine. Also you follow a long stretch of the Essex Way and pass through the grounds of the stunning Holfield Grange. At certain points you cross the A120 twice, but the footpaths are directly opposite so there's no walking alongside the busy A-road.
Some of the paths across the ploughed fields haven't been maintained but carefully following the easy instructions, it's not a problem.
Near the end of the walk you get a chance to browse the quaint shops in the small town centre followed by a visit to the local pub. An ideal family walk.
